I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but CF has dropped in the Tiobe Index. April’s report shows ColdFusion at 15, down two points from March. As I’ve said before, this is not necessarily a bad thing. ColdFusion is still very popular (9 green up arrows), but in April CF is a little less popular than a couple of others. Also, I’m still not sure I trust Tiobe’s algorithms. But this index is at most an interesting monthly report on the programming community in general. By the way, VB.Net has been rapidly rising over the last few months, and it now is just below CF at #16.
