I’ve created a view of the ColdFusion docs that is quicker than livedocs (at least to me), or the docs that come with the CF server. I’ve called it cfQuickDocs, and it uses CFAjax. You just have to start typing in the input boxes and it returns a list of tags that match your text. For example, if you typed ‘as’ in the functions lookup, it would return ‘ASin’ and ‘Asc’. You can then click on one of the results and it quickly displays the full documentation page for it. There is also a search function that searches all cftags, functions and their documentation.I get the data from livedocs, so it should stay current. If you are curious how it works, I created this overview.
