Trojan creates spam network

A new variant of the bagle virus reportedly creates a network of zombie computers that spammers will use to relay their emails. This virus arrives as an email attachment, and if a Windows user opens the attachment, it attempts to disable more than 250 security programs, and attempts to email addresses it finds on the computer to spread itself. Also, it attempts to contact one of 141 German websites to let the attackers know that this computer is compromised, and then it opens up TCP port 1080 to be used as a backdoor relay for their spam.
Of course, just like most of the other viruses out there, none of this would be possible if YOU PEOPLE WOULD STOP OPENING ATTACHMENTS FROM UNKNOWN SOURCES!! Ok, I’m done now. 🙂
